 Stargel® Stargel® is the trade name for Sodium Starch Glycolate (SSG). Sodium starch glycolate is the sodium salt of carboxymethyl ether is a commonly used super-disintegrant employed to promote rapid disintegration and dissolution. Stargel® is considered acost-effective superdisintegrant because of its rapid swelling properties, good flowability and mixing properties.  EcoCel™ EcoCel™ is the trade name for Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC). EcoCel™ is available in Sodium and Calcium salts of CMC. It has a high water uptake capacity and acts as a viscosity modifier. When CMC Sodium is used in cosmetics, it stops lotions and creams from separating and controls the thickness and texture of liquids, creams and gels.  FloLub™ FloLub™ is Sigachi’s brand name for Sodium Stearyl Fumarate. FloLub™ is an inert, hydrophilic, tablet lubricant, useful in situations where other lubricating agents (i.e. magnesium stearate, stearic acid) fail to provide tablets of adequate stability, hardness, content uniformity, disintegration, and dissolution rate. FloLub™ is compatible with almost all the API’s.
